During the meeting, the audience was provided with information on systematic measures taken to develop modern tourism infrastructure in Uzbekistan, facilities created for foreign tourists, modern hotels and new tourist destinations.
In addition, it was emphasized that many historical monuments in our country are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the beauty of Uzbekistan's nature, the centuries-old traditions of folk crafts and customs of our people are important factors in its tourist attractiveness. It was noted that the historical cities of our country are becoming centers of cultural diplomacy and tourism, in particular, the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference will be held in Samarkand in 2025.
It was emphasized that visa-free entry to Uzbekistan is valid for citizens of about a hundred foreign countries, including a 30-day visa-free entry regime for citizens of Kuwait starting from June 1.
The representatives of Kuwait emphasized in their speeches that the peace and tranquility prevailing in our country create excellent opportunities for foreign tourists to freely visit the historical cities of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on joint efforts to increase the flow of Kuwaiti tourists to Uzbekistan.
