Presidential Aide Saida Mirziyoyeva took part in a round table in Qatar dedicated to the International Day for the Protection of Education from Attacks. She expressed gratitude to Sheikha Moza bint Nasser for the invitation and stressed the importance of the event.

Saida Mirziyoyeva stated that Uzbekistan is interested in quality education, especially for girls and women, including those outside its borders.

In 2018, at the initiative of the President, a professional educational center was opened in Termez, where about 700 Afghan citizens have already been trained, 200 of whom are girls and women.

"This is very important for the women of Afghanistan - there is an acute shortage of qualified medical personnel in the field of maternity and childhood protection in the country. We are ready to continue to train Afghan girls and women in the necessary professions to prevent a humanitarian crisis, and the Qatari Government and the Education Above All Foundation are ready to help us in this. This is not an easy task for all parties, given the current situation. But we are ready to make every effort in this direction. There is no better protection for a woman than free access to education," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on the Telegram channel.
