A hundred-bed hospital to be built in Samarkand in a month

    The construction of a 100-bed modern hospital complex has begun on 18 hectares in the military unit, in Samarkand. It will treat various diseases, including infectious ones. It is planned to organize a treatment and resuscitation departments. Housing for medical personnel will be also built.

    The general contractor, SUE Bunyodkor Obod Pastdargom, plans to build and commission the complex within a month.
    Construction of a 1000-bed quarantine complex has also began on the adjacent territory of the military camp. JSC Uzavtosanoat started importing containers. The Ministry of Health delivers the necessary diagnostic and medical equipment for the complex.
    According to the khokimiyat of Samarkand region, the Khokim of the region E. Turdimov, together with senior officials of the Ministry of Construction, got acquainted with the project of the facility and construction. Instructions and recommendations were given on the quality and progress of construction in accordance with the established standards.
    These medical institutions are planned to be transferred to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the future, inform UzA.
