The memorial was erected in memory of the Kazakh soldiers who fought in the Second World War. Its height is 37 meters. The image of the Motherland is depicted in the center of the monument.
The heads of foreign states lay flowers at the monument as a sign of deep respect for the people of Kazakhstan.
