How many Uzbek citizens have traveled to foreign countries for the purpose of studying?

Compared to the corresponding period last year, their number decreased by 1.3 thousand people or 7.4%.

According to the Statistics Agency, the number of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who left for foreign countries in January-May this year for the purpose of studying by country:

·        Tajikistan - 7,888 people;

·        Russia - 2,272 people;

·        Kyrgyz Republic - 1,756 people;

·        South Korea - 900 people;

·        Turkey - 858 people;

·        Kazakhstan - 608 people;

·        Great Britain - 342 people;

·        China - 302 people;

·        Germany - 154 people;

·        USA - 141 people;

·        other countries - 575 people.
