The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia

    On March 28 of this year, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D. Vakhabov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Uzbekistan with residence in Nur-Sultan Toomas Tirs.

    Issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as strengthening business cooperation between Uzbekistan and Estonia were discussed at the meeting.

    During the meeting, information about the economic opportunities and investment potential of the country was brought to the foreign side. Special attention was paid to the development of information technologies in our country.

    It was also noted the need for cooperation in the exchange of experience in the field of the introduction of the textile industry, information technology, as well as in agriculture.

    In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia T. Tirs noted that in recent years there has been a positive trend in relations between Estonia and Uzbekistan. Economic and cultural ties have significantly intensified. He also emphasized that strengthening business cooperation and the development of economic relations in general requires interaction between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, which are the main platform for business interaction.

    In this regard, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.
