During the meeting, the parties discussed the practical implementation of the measures provided for by the memorandum signed following the visit of the Uzbek delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Transport Abdusamat Muminov to the Republic of Korea on April 11-15 this year.

In particular, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects in the field of transport and road management, the development of a feasibility study of promising projects involving grant funds.

Kim De Ho said that KEC Corporation is showing great interest in participating in the implementation of PPP-based transport infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan. He also expressed readiness to consider the possibility of joint implementation of promising projects in the field of transport and road management with the involvement of gratuitous funds of the Korean Agency for International Cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties outlined further steps on the issues under discussion and agreed to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation in these areas.
