These successes highlight the dedication and rising quality of legal education within the country.
The TSUL team made a remarkable impact at the international Air Law Moot Court Competition in Minsk, achieving an outstanding 2nd place among 52 teams globally. Further underscoring their exceptional written advocacy, the team also earned the special nomination for “Best Memorial for Applicant”.
This pattern of excellence continued across diverse and highly competitive legal fields. In Boston (USA), the TSUL team competed in the prestigious FDI Moot (Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot Competition), which annually draws 155 top university teams from around the world. The Uzbek students performed admirably against international heavyweights from countries like China, India, and Russia, earning a coveted spot among the Top 20 best teams.
Most recently, at the UPICC Moot Court Competition — 2025 held at the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, the TSUL team solidified their status by winning the “Best Performance Award”. To cap off this achievement, team member Nazima Kazakova was individually recognized as “The Best Oralist,” demonstrating not only strong team effort but also exceptional individual advocacy talent.
These consecutive high-level placements, from specialized air law to complex international arbitration and investment disputes, underscore a burgeoning power in Uzbekistan's legal youth, proudly showcasing their competitive skill and global capability.
