High-tech products are manufactured in “Tinchlik” Small Industrial Zone

    During his trip to Tashkent region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the “Tinchlik” Small Industrial Zone in Yangiyul district and got acquainted with the activities of several enterprises.

    Such complexes are of great importance in the socio-economic development of regions, creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurship and providing employment to the population. The industrial zone was created four years ago on ​​thirty-six hectares. Engineering and communications infrastructure, internal roads, and buildings were built, and favorable conditions for production were created.

    There are fifteen projects in the construction materials, light, and food industries here. Ten have already been commissioned. Last year, enterprises produced import-substituting products worth 295 billion UZS. By the end of the current year, this figure is planned to be almost doubled. Currently, more than 1,500 people work at the enterprises. With the launch of all projects, employment will increase even more.

    The production of metal structures, high-pressure tanks, overhead cranes, drilling equipment, welding electrodes, metal doors, and electrical panels has been established at the Enter Steel enterprise.

    This project costs $40 million, and foreign direct investment has been attracted to it. Equipment has been supplied from China, Japan, Russia, Türkiye, Italy, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands. This helps to improve the quality of products and labor productivity.

    The enterprise can employ 1,500 people. A practical monocenter has been created to train the necessary specialists. Classrooms and laboratories are equipped with modern equipment. The educational program has been developed jointly with the Tashkent State Technical University.
