The concept reflects the consolidated position of the Commonwealth states on the goals, most important tasks, principles, mechanisms and main areas of interaction for the development of industrial cooperation, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports.

The authors of the document were the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council for Industrial Policy of the CIS member States and the CIS Executive Committee.

According to the developers of the Concept, the creation of the necessary conditions for the development of industrial cooperation is one of the main factors for increasing the competitiveness of their economies, accelerating economic growth, strengthening national sovereignty and ultimately improving the welfare and quality of life of the population of the CIS member States.0

The objectives of the Concept are the creation of new high-tech industries, accelerated development and modernization of industrial production in the CIS member states, its technological renewal, increasing the production and export of competitive, innovative and knowledge-intensive products with a high share of added value, achieving international standards for product quality, creating new jobs, improving the welfare and quality of life of the population.

A set of measures for the development of industrial cooperation of the CIS member states for the period up to 2030, which is an integral part of the Concept, acts as a mechanism for its implementation and provides for the development and deepening of industrial cooperation through the implementation of the relevant industrial policy of the Commonwealth states aimed at promoting the modernization and development of industries and industries, building their cooperative chains.
