    On Monday, February 7, information appeared on social networks about the termination by the General Motors concern of the production of Chevrolet Spark cars in August 2022.

    Some sources interpreted this information as the cessation of production of Spark cars in Uzbekistan.

    The company "UzAuto Motors" officially informs that this information does not concern plans for the production of cars in Uzbekistan. As noted earlier, the start of production of Chevrolet Tracker cars is indeed planned for July of this year in Uzbekistan, but there are no plans to stop production of Chevrolet Spark.
