During the talks, the sides discussed the current state and priority areas for further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran in the trade, economic, investment and transport spheres.
Joint steps were agreed upon to achieve sustainable and balanced growth in mutual trade.
At the same time, an agreement was reached to hold the next 16th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between Uzbekistan and Iran, a joint business forum and the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition in Tehran in May this year.
