Uzbekistan - China: cooperation agreements signed in the field of road standards and digital innovations

    A delegation of the Committee of Highways is currently on a working visit to the People's Republic of China. During the visit, special attention is paid to expanding cooperation in the field of scientific and technical innovations in the road sector.

    To this end, the delegation members held meetings with the leadership of the City Institute of Engineering, Design and Research in Tianjin. During the visit to China's largest testing laboratory, negotiations were held on the joint development of innovative materials for the road industry.

    As a result of the negotiations, for the first time in Uzbekistan, an agreement was signed on cooperation with a developed foreign country to create a unified system of standards in the road industry, develop innovative materials and begin practical work on digitalization.

    This cooperation agreement has become one of the most important events in the history of the Scientific Research Institute of Highways. From now on, practical work will begin in the road sector to develop modern innovative materials, create a unified system of standards and digitalization.
