The delegation, led by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Laziz Kudratov, continues to work in Budapest to develop investment, trade, economic and industrial cooperation with Hungary.

On May 17-19, a number of negotiations were held with the heads of large Hungarian companies that are leaders of the Eastern European market in the areas of management and development of industrial zones, wholesale and retail trade networks, infrastructure and road construction, digitalization, energy, production of electrical equipment, and project financing.

During the meetings, which were also attended by representatives of the business community of Uzbekistan, agreements were reached on the implementation of joint investment projects involving direct investment, best practices and technologies. For a number of projects focused on the production of in-demand products with high added value and the possibility of preferential export to promising markets, measures have been agreed to localize production in special industrial zones at the early stages of implementation.

The agreements reached will form the basis of the Uzbek-Hungarian multifaceted cooperation programs with the consolidation of individual project managers and the introduction of control mechanisms for the implementation of each stage of the projects.
