During the meeting, issues of further strengthening trade and economic cooperation between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Shaanxi province, expanding areas of cooperation and implementing joint projects were discussed.
The negotiations discussed the prospects of investing in construction and design, the manufacture of electrical products, the transport sector, mining and geological work, the metallurgical industry, agriculture, as well as the food industry.
In addition, the importance of establishing direct cooperation between Uzbek and Chinese entrepreneurs in these areas was emphasized.
The parties noted the strategic importance of cooperation between China and Uzbekistan within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. Special attention was paid to cooperation projects in the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, energy, industry and the digital economy, which play an important role in increasing Uzbekistan's transport and logistics potential.
During the meeting, they also discussed joint preparations for a major forum scheduled for May 21-25 this year in Shaanxi Province, attracting the active participation of entrepreneurs and sharing experiences between the parties.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to bring cooperation to a practical level, develop new joint projects and intensify business ties.
