During the conversation, the parties stressed that thanks to the firm political will and efforts of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, the relations of good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two fraternal states have reached a new level, and cooperation is actively developing in all areas, including in the social and humanitarian sphere.

The parties reviewed the state of development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, education, youth policy, healthcare and sports, emphasizing that this contributes to strengthening friendly ties and practical partnership between the peoples of the two countries. In this regard, the issues of deepening academic and scientific contacts between educational institutions, expanding student and faculty exchanges, as well as organizing youth forums and sports events were considered.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation in the field of healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Prospects for expanding scientific and practical cooperation between medical institutions of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, establishing an exchange of experience between doctors, as well as creating joint ventures for the production of medicines and medical equipment in both countries were discussed.

Following the meeting, high interest was expressed in further expanding cooperation in the social and humanitarian sphere.
