The negotiations were held in a constructive atmosphere and ended with the identification of specific areas for further cooperation.
The parties agreed to develop a program to improve the efficiency of Uzbekistan's special economic zones, providing for the introduction of a single window mechanism, unified management standards, a CRM platform and modern infrastructure. The project will aim to create favorable conditions for attracting strategic investments.
An initiative to create a pilot SEZ based on the Singapore model was also considered, for the preparation of which a joint expert group will be formed.
Special attention is paid to the implementation of an agro-industrial project in the Urtachirchik district of the Tashkent region. The project provides for the creation of 1,800 new jobs.
Following the visit, the Singapore partners confirmed the high interest in long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan, which opens up new opportunities for attracting investments and developing joint projects.
