Uzbekistan reached a significant milestone in 2025, entering the global top 100 startup ecosystems for the first time. The country has demonstrated record growth, becoming the fastest growing startup hub in Central Asia and one of the main winners on the global stage.

1. Uzbekistan entered the global top 100 for the first time, ranking 98th in the world. The country's ecosystem has shown growth of over 132%, which is the highest in Central Asia and the second largest globally.
2. Uzbekistan has improved its position in Asia, rising to 17th place, which is the third consecutive year of growth in this region.
3. Uzbekistan ranks second in Central Asia, overtaking Kyrgyzstan.
4. Tashkent has become the fastest growing city in Central Asia with an ecosystem growth of 132% according to the Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2025. The city entered the global top 400 for the first time, ranking 350th, and continues to strengthen its position as an important hub for startups in the region.
