This historic step was taken in response to the growing challenges of global food security and Uzbekistan's desire to actively participate in solving problems related to hunger, poverty and inequality.
Participation in the Global Alliance provides the country with unique opportunities to share experiences, attract international investments and implement joint programs with other states and organizations to solve these pressing problems.
To date, more than 100 countries have joined the document, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
