The leadership of the Migration Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Executive Director of the Macedonian company Kouzon Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding on the organization of work on cruise ships.

According to the agreement, Uzbek citizens who speak English and wish to work abroad will be able to officially get a job on tourist liners plying the routes of the Mediterranean Sea, Scandinavia, the Caribbean and other regions.

Kouzon Corporation, which operates in 18 countries around the world and has more than 28 years of experience in training and employing specialists on marine vessels, provides jobs to up to 25,000 people annually.

The minimum wage on cruise ships is $1,200 per month for the first six-month contract. After a two-month vacation, when the contract is re-signed, the salary can reach $ 4,000, depending on the candidate's experience. Accommodation and meals on board are provided by the employer.

To simplify employment, the parties agreed to assist in obtaining a C1/D type transit visa, which is necessary for working on ships. It will take from 45 to 90 days to receive it and will be arranged by the employer.

A roadmap for the implementation of the project and the launch of candidate selection will be developed in the near future.
