Uzhydromet: snow and frosts up to minus 20 degrees are expected in the first half of the week

According to the Uzhydromet service, this afternoon the cold and humid air mass will gradually spread to the entire territory of the republic. Precipitation will occur everywhere (rain, snow). Precipitation will begin in the late afternoon in the regions of the Ferghana Valley.

Tomorrow, precipitation in the form of snow will persist in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya regions and regions of the Ferghana Valley. No precipitation is expected in the rest of the republic.

Heavy snow will fall in places in the mountainous regions of the republic on December 11-12.

From Wednesday to Friday, the weather is expected to be without precipitation throughout Uzbekistan.

On December 11-13, the cold outflow will increase, and the air temperature will drop at night to 8-1 ° C frost, in the afternoon to 3-8 ° C frost, in the north at night to 15-20 ° C frost, in the afternoon to 7-12 ° C frost. Severe frosts are not expected in the south of the republic; at night the temperature will drop only to 2-7 ° C frost.

On December 14-15, the cold air will depart from the territory of Uzbekistan, and the frosts will begin to weaken. Fog is expected in places across the republic. In some areas, wind may increase to 17-22 m/s.

In the capital: December 11-12, there is occasional precipitation (rain from transitions to snow), December 13-15 - no precipitation. Fog is possible at night and in the morning. On December 11-12, wind increases to 12-15 m/s at times, and there is ice on the roads on December 12-15.
