It was attended by the Secretary General of the Federation Kamoliddin Ruzimukhammedov, Director of the Republican School of Higher Sportsmanship in Athletics Sanatilla Gulomnazarov, responsible persons of the Organizing Committee and media staff.
The mass race will take place in 15 cities of the republic at a distance of 3 km, and in Tashkent - at 3 and 10 km. In total, more than 6000 thousand volunteers will take part in the upcoming event, which will be held in the capital, and more than 100 thousand on the scale of the republic. According to officials, athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan were invited to participate in the competition.
It should be noted that in order to further strengthen the promotion of this mass race, the organization of press conferences is also provided in a number of regions of the republic. By tradition, the site in front of the Humo Arena complex was defined as the starting and finishing points of the capital marathon. Competitions in all regions of the country will start on November 19 at 07:30.
