Tashkent buses will strengthen control over the operation of air conditioners

In connection with complaints spread on social networks about non-functioning air conditioners in buses of the capital against the background of rising air temperatures, the General Directorate of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the city of Tashkent issued an official statement.

It is reported that in order to prevent passenger discomfort and ensure uninterrupted operation of cooling systems at outdoor temperatures above +28°C, on April 30, 2026, all carriers were sent the corresponding instruction No. 1/E-410.

Currently, the state institution "Monitoring and Control of Passenger transportation in Tashkent" has increased inspections in public transport.

Responsible persons are instructed to promptly respond to passenger requests, promptly consider complaints and take strict disciplinary measures against carriers that do not comply with the established requirements.
