The introduction of the gross contract system in public transport has given
a major impetus to entrepreneurs engaged in passenger transport activities to
renew their fleets.
Since 2023, more than 2,000 buses have been purchased by entrepreneurs in
the regions of our republic (excluding the city of Tashkent). As a result, the
quality and level of comfort of transport services provided to millions of
passengers have increased.
Specifically, in the Khorezm region, passenger transport companies
"Khorezm Dovud Servistrans" LLC and "Bunyod Auto Urganch"
LLC purchased 32 "Zhongtong" brand buses, while "Ancient Khorezm
Oasis" LLC acquired 15 "Yutong" brand buses.
The newly brought buses are planned to be deployed on urban routes within
the city of Urganch. As a reminder, the total number of buses purchased by
entrepreneurs since the beginning of this year has now reached 139.
