More than 200 heads of companies from more than 30 leading partner countries have been invited to the forum through our country's diplomatic missions abroad. At the same time, representatives of the diplomatic corps in Tashkent are expected to actively participate, according to the Dunyo news agency.
It should be noted that in recent years, as a result of the open and consistent investment policy pursued in our country, the economy has demonstrated stable growth. In particular, in 2024, the gross domestic product will increase by 6.5%, reaching $ 115 billion. The volume of foreign investments increased 1.6 times, amounting to almost $ 35 billion. 242 large and medium-sized projects worth $10 billion have been implemented. The volume of our country's exports reached $27 billion for the first time.
The forum will include presentations for foreign participants of the investment, trade, economic and tourism potential of the Jizzakh region.
The business forum is expected to demonstrate such advantages of the Jizzakh region as large raw material reserves, convenient logistics infrastructure, rich natural resources, a developing tourism sector, high human capital, and will also strengthen investment, trade and economic ties between the region and foreign partners. It also opens the door to new areas of cooperation and opportunities for entrepreneurs.
