According to the Resolution, the main goals of sustainable socio-economic development of the Jizzakh region for 2026-2027 have been defined, in particular:

ensuring the annual average growth of the gross regional product by 8.5%, the volume of industrial production by 7.8%, the volume of market services by 13.2% and the volume of agricultural production by 4.6%;

reducing the unemployment rate to 3% and the poverty rate to 2.8% in 2026, turning the cities of Jizzakh, Sharaf-Rashidovsky, Bakhmali, Gallyaralsky, Dustliksky, Zaamin and Zafarabad districts into territories free from poverty and unemployment.

5,000 hectares of old orchards and vineyards are scheduled to be renovated in 57 mahallas of Bakhmali, Gallyaral, Zaamin, Farish and other districts specializing in horticulture.

5 business centers will be established in Sharaf-Rashidovsky, Dustliksky, Gallyaralsky, Arnasaysky and Zafarabad districts, covering 40 mahallas.

It is planned to locate the city of Yangi Jizzakh (New Jizzakh) and build 50 multi-storey buildings with 1,200 apartments on an empty land plot between the city of Jizzakh and Sharaf-Rashid district with an area of 40 hectares.
