The meeting discussed the stages of implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Abu Dhabi Development Fund for the allocation of grant funds in the amount of 5.1 million US dollars for the project "Development of a sustainable agricultural production system in underdeveloped regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan".

I.Abdurakhmonov raised the issue of raising funds to continue the selection of startups aimed at solving problems related to drought and salinization in the Aral Sea region. It was noted that this issue will be discussed by the Board of the Fund, and positive measures will be taken.

Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov also met with the Chief Strategic Director of Marlin Farm in Abu Dhabi, Hamad Numan al Ali, and his co-founder Suhail Bacham.

In addition, the delegation visited the aquaponics farm built by the company in the Emirate of Sharjah and got acquainted with the existing conditions for laboratory research work, which includes innovative solutions of the company in agriculture, the press service of the Ministry of Innovation reports.
