The event was organized by the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Namangan Institute of Civil Engineering, Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology and Namangan State University.
The forum was attended by more than 200 academicians, professors, employees of scientific and higher educational institutions from Uzbekistan and a number of foreign countries, who made presentations and reports.
For two days, the scientists considered the issues of further development of physics, prospects for cooperation in the field of scientific research. The current state and prospects for the development of new areas of physical science in the Fergana Valley were actively discussed, attention was focused on the results of ongoing research, as well as the exchange of experience in conducting scientific research on topical issues using modern equipment and devices.
It is noted that the most important issues in the development of physical research are the training of highly qualified physicists, the organization of internships for university teachers in the leading physical research centers of Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the forum, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. According to the agreement, it is planned to further develop bilateral cooperation relations, jointly conduct scientific research and implement a number of other projects.
