The draft general plan of Tashkent until 2045 provides for the construction of a new district of the capital "New Tashkent", its area will be 20 thousand hectares, this is the main urban development project of modern Uzbekistan.
The construction of the first residential and infrastructure facilities in the district began in April this year, and the construction of the main project facilities is planned to be completed in 2045. It is expected that in the future all state institutions will be transferred to the "New Tashkent".
