In Poland, a natural disaster regime was introduced due to flooding

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has decided to introduce a natural disaster regime due to large-scale floods in the south of the country.

According to the Report, the Polish prime minister wrote about this on the social network X.

"After consultations with the competent ministers and services, I instructed to prepare an order of the Council of Ministers on the introduction of a natural disaster regime," the publication says.

Recall that large-scale floods occurred in the Silesian and Lower Silesian voivode ships in the south and south-west of Poland due to the outlet of the Nysa River (left tributary of the Oder River) due to heavy rains. Floods are called the strongest since 1997. The center of the city of Klodzko and its surroundings went under water, more than 1,600 residents of the region were evacuated. The army provides assistance to rescuers and firefighters. According to Polish media, two people were victims of a natural disaster. About 50 thousand residents of the south of the country remain without electricity.
