During the conversation, it was noted that China is one of Uzbekistan's key strategic partners. Thanks to the open and trusting dialogue between the leaders of the two countries, bilateral relations have reached the level of a comprehensive, long-term strategic partnership.

During the meeting, the current directions and prospects of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation were discussed, including issues of enhancing interparliamentary cooperation, as well as cooperation in the field of audit and financial transparency.

In addition, during the meeting, the issue of the importance of a gender approach in the formation of the state budget was raised, including in the fields of education, healthcare and the development of women's entrepreneurship. The need to take gender perspectives into account in order to create more equitable and effective economic and social structures was emphasized.

As part of the development of the inter-regional dialogue, an agreement was also reached to launch program projects aimed at strengthening parliamentary control over the formation of local budgets, which will improve local financial management and ensure more efficient use of resources.

The parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached would contribute to further deepening Uzbek-Chinese cooperation and ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of both countries.
