During the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the parliament, in particular, with the legislative and law-making process, as well as enrich their political knowledge and skills through active communication with senators.
The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Women and Gender Equality of the Oliy Majlis M. Kadirkhanova touched upon the role and participation of women in the ongoing reforms and transformations, stressed the importance of keeping up with all changes, as well as the importance of using the opportunities created.
In addition, detailed information was provided on the legal basis of the activities, powers and functions of the Senate, some aspects of the processes of consideration and adoption of laws, the implementation of parliamentary control.
It should be noted that at the initiative of the Ministry of Public Education, since 2019, more than 38 thousand girls' students have been included in the Kizlarjon club in order to improve their leadership qualities, socio-political activity, spiritual and moral education, and professional skills.
Among them, 120 girls' students carry out their activities as moderators and about 14 thousand girls' students organize meetings of various content based on the peer principle.
During the sincere dialogue, the participants received detailed answers to their questions.
