During the dialogue, it was noted that the strategic relations between Uzbekistan and the EU member states have reached a new level.
Issues of expanding cooperation projects in the fields of trade, economics, education, medicine, and innovation within the framework of the GSP+ system of the European Union were discussed.
Special mention was made of the work aimed at ensuring human rights, gender equality and wider use of the opportunities of civil institutions in our country. An exchange of views took place on studying the experience of developed countries in this area.
An agreement was also reached on strengthening inter-parliamentary relations with the EU member states and launching cooperation programs to improve lawmaking and parliamentary control.
