The importance of developing a methodology based on international standards for NGOs and interested organizations working in this area, practical implementation of this methodology and training of specialists was also emphasized.
In addition, the sides also exchanged views on the prevention of violence against women and children, priority areas of cooperation in this area and possible joint projects in the future.
Iluta Latse highly appreciated the progress of democratic reforms in Uzbekistan and emphasized the increasing role of Parliament in reforming society. At the same time, she stressed the importance of further expanding the Marta Center's cooperation with relevant organizations in Uzbekistan to achieve common goals in the field of human rights and gender equality.
