During the event, prospects for bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation were discussed, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two countries in creating additional opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia Batsumber Munkhjin noted that over the past period, Uzbek-Mongolian relations have consistently expanded and strengthened. There has been an intensification of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan noted that bilateral relations are based on the principles of traditional friendship, equality and mutual benefit.
President of the National Chamber of Commerce of Mongolia Otgondavaa Amartuvshin stressed that over the past years, warm friendly relations have been established between the two countries that meet the interests of the business circles of both countries, and good prospects for the development of cooperation in many areas of the economy are opening up.
Otgondavaa Amartuvshin expressed confidence that further activation of a consistent dialogue between business representatives will serve to raise the relations between our countries to a new level.
During the forum, the parties listed priority areas for establishing business partnership between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Also, the forum participants were presented with promising project proposals developed in a targeted manner for further study with interested Mongolian business representatives.
At the end of the event, the heads of the delegations of the two countries called on the business community to actively cooperate and establish a constructive dialogue to develop new "growth points" of the bilateral economic partnership, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.
