In connection with the 34th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Motherland Day, a solemn procession of military units of ministries and departments of the Armed Forces will take place in the capital on January 12.
The solemn procession of military units will begin at 11:00 and last until 13:00 at the University of Military Security and Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan (landmark: Pushkin metro station).
During the ceremony, military units will move along Parkent and Mustakillik streets, and in the parking lot located on Amir Temur Avenue, demonstration performances by the honor guard team and hand-to-hand combat masters, combat calls of units and a military band fashion show will be presented. After that, the military units return to their starting point through the streets of "Mustakillik" and "Temiryul."
In this regard, on January 12, from 11:00 to 13:00, the movement of vehicles along the above-mentioned streets will be temporarily restricted.
Apologies were offered for any inconvenience, and citizens were encouraged to take an active part in these celebrations.
