During the talks, the parties noted that the bilateral cooperation initiated by the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan continues to develop consistently and effectively, especially in the energy sector.
The issues of coordinating the work of energy systems, the development of electric networks and increasing the volume of electricity exchange were discussed.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on technical issues within the framework of the project "Reconnection to the Unified Energy System of Central Asia".
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen fraternal relations and strategic partnership in the interests of the peoples of both countries.
