Yesterday, a meeting dedicated to the official opening of the academy took place at the Chigatai sports base, which was attended by UFA management, experienced instructors and promising young referees. The participants were told in detail about the main tasks of the academy, the training programs and the opportunities provided for young judges.

Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice President of UFA, noted in his speech that this project will be an important step in the development of football refereeing not only in our country, but also in the region. He also stressed that this previously unrealized initiative would help bring Uzbekistan's refereeing system in line with international standards.

"A football referee must know every rule, every detail perfectly, and constantly works on himself. Refereeing is not only knowledge, but also dedication and high responsibility," Ravshan Irmatov said.

It is expected that the Academy of Referees will play an important role in the professional development of young professionals, forming in them the necessary skills and competencies to serve matches on the international stage. This, in turn, will contribute to the growth of the prestige and quality of Uzbek football.

The New Academy is not only a training center, but also a platform for the exchange of experience, analysis and continuous professional growth for young arbitrators.

The educational process at the academy consists of six modules. The first module of the training course, which runs from 6 to 12 May, involves 25 selected arbitrators who will be engaged in practical classes. The referees who have successfully completed the course will be recommended to serve the matches of the First League, Pro League, Super League and tournaments held under the auspices of AFC.
