The day before, Saida Mirziyoyeva got acquainted with the innovative projects of the Center for Digital Healthcare. Electronic medical records have already been introduced for more than 33 million citizens within the framework of the Unified DMED System. This makes it easier for doctors to work and allows them to spend more time communicating with patients.
In addition, a Situation Center has been created that shows the workload of doctors and the condition of medical equipment in real time, which helps to effectively allocate resources.
"I was particularly pleased that the Ko'ngil ko'zi project, which has been in existence in our country for seven years, has reached a new level thanks to artificial intelligence. Now retinopathy in premature babies can be detected already in the first days of life, which makes it possible to preserve the eyesight of thousands of babies. New technologies can prevent up to 90% of cases of childhood blindness. This is the hope for thousands of families," Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized.
During the visit, technologies for early detection of stroke, breast cancer and other diseases were also presented.
"Of course, artificial intelligence will not replace doctors, but it becomes a reliable assistant and saves them time and effort. I wish the Digital Healthcare Center the successful implementation of these projects that help preserve the health of the nation," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.
