According to the document, IT-visa is also issued to the following categories of persons:
for foreign investors and information technology specialists;
to the founders (participants) of Technopark residents, individuals acting as their sole executive body, as well as the chairmen of the collegial executive body and their deputies;
to the founders (participants) and specialists of startup projects who are participants of the Digital Startups Program;
to foreign professors and teachers of higher educational institutions who have a PhD, PhD, or PhD (DSc) degree in the field of information technology.
New criteria have also been defined for obtaining an IT-visa recommendation.:
A foreign investor is a person who finances a legal entity (a resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of IT) in the amount of at least the equivalent of 30 thousand US dollars, or a person whose share in the authorized capital of such a legal entity is at least 30 thousand US dollars.
The founder of a Technopark resident is an individual who is the founder (participant) of a Technopark resident, provided that the amount of his share in the authorized capital is at least 30 thousand US dollars.
