According to the law, the owner of a dwelling or a person who has the right to dispose of it, providing living space for living, is obliged to register these persons in a timely manner at their place of residence or place of stay.

Registration of persons staying in accommodation facilities at the place of stay is carried out by responsible employees through the "E-mehmon" system.

Uzbek citizens permanently residing abroad are required to register at their place of residence or stay in Uzbekistan no later than 10 working days from the moment of entry into the country.

Registration of citizens of Uzbekistan at the place of residence is carried out:

in the migration and citizenship registration units of the internal affairs bodies;

in public service centers;

through a single interactive portal of public services (my.gov.uz).

When registering at the place of residence and place of stay, it is necessary to observe the social norm of living space.
