According to the NAPPA, the organizers of the project do not have a license to operate in the field of crypto asset turnover in the Republic of Uzbekistan. On this fact, the Agency sent a corresponding appeal to law enforcement agencies.
According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Licensing, Licensing and Notification Procedures" and Presidential Decree No. PP-3832 dated July 3, 2018, only legal entities resident in Uzbekistan who have received a license for such activities are eligible to provide services in the field of crypto asset turnover. Licensees include crypto exchanges, mining pools, crypto depositories, and crypto stores (the register of licensed persons is available on the Agency's website).
NAPP recalls that from January 1, 2023, citizens and legal entities of the Republic of Uzbekistan can carry out transactions for the purchase, sale and (or) exchange of crypto assets exclusively through national service providers in accordance with the procedure established by legislative acts. Administrative and criminal liability is provided for conducting operations with crypto assets in violation of the established procedure.
The agency urges citizens to be extremely attentive:
Do not entrust your funds to projects that work with crypto assets without licensed providers.
Before performing operations, check the availability of a license from the provider on the Agency's website.
Remember: participation in illegal projects can lead to loss of funds and prosecution.
