The main event of the festival was the cooking of 9 tons of plov in one giant cauldron, a new national record. For this purpose, 2.5 tons of beef, 3 tons of carrots, 2.5 tons of rice and 750 liters of cottonseed oil were used. Everyone was able to taste the dish, which created an atmosphere of celebration, hospitality and unity.
The event demonstrated how national cuisine and gastronomic festivals can become an effective tool for promoting tourism and popularizing the traditions of Khorezm.
