In this regard, the Football Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Committee plays an important role. He is responsible for the development, testing and implementation of solutions such as VAR, goal scoring systems, semi-automatic offside detection, digital monitoring and artificial intelligence.

According to the decision of the FIFA Council, Ravshan Irmatov, First Vice-President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, has been appointed deputy chairman of this committee for the period 2025-2029. The head of the structure is the director of the FIFA Football Technology Department, Johannes Holzmuller.

In addition, AFU Secretary General Avvaz Maksumov joined the Beach Soccer Committee, and Yulia Panina, Head of the Women's Soccer Development Department, became a member of the Women's National Team Competitions Committee.

This is the first time in history that representatives of Uzbekistan have been appointed to such high-level FIFA committees, which demonstrates the growing international prestige of the national football.
