To participate in the competition, it is necessary to take pictures of cultural heritage sites of Uzbekistan and upload them to Wikimedia Commons in the period from October 1 to October 31, 2023.
It is expected that at least 5,000 photographs of historical monuments of Uzbekistan will be uploaded as part of the competition, as well as 100 articles in Uzbek and Russian will be created.
The organizers of the contest in Uzbekistan are a group of Uzbek-speaking Wikimedians together with the Russian Wikigid community with the support of the Wikimedia Foundation and the Ministry of Ecology.
The authors of the best works will be awarded with certificates and valuable prizes.
