Following the conclusion of Greco-Roman wrestling bouts, our compatriots won third place in the team classification at the world championship

The next day of competitions at the U20 World Wrestling Championships has come to an end. On the previous day of the championship held in Slovakia, our athletes earned 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Silver Medal:

-60 kg: Dostonbek Oripov

Bronze Medals:

-50 kg: Nilufar Nurmuhammadova

-53 kg: Sohibjamol Esbosinova

Following the conclusion of the Greco-Roman wrestling events, our compatriots secured third place in the overall team classification with 95 points, behind Russia and Iran.

In today's evening program, among our girls, Muhayyo Narzillayeva will compete in the final match in the -65 kg weight category, while Feruza Kayratdinova (-62 kg) will fight for the bronze medal. Additionally, during the day, 3 more of our athletes will participate in the qualification rounds in freestyle and women's wrestling events.
