The purpose of the Decree is to provide comprehensive assistance to business entities operating in the jewelry sector and to satisfy the population's demand for high-quality local jewelry products.
In accordance with paragraph 2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-452 dated December 23, 2022 (https://lex.uz/docs/6346726), the period of validity of discounts provided for the sale of precious metals through exchange trading and direct contracts has been extended until February 1, 2029.
Starting from February 1, 2026, the following additional criteria will be taken into account when forming the list of business firms manufacturing jewelry products that utilize the discounts:
yaratilgan yangi ish oʻrinlariga ishga qabul qilingan zargarlar bilan belgilangan tartibda mehnat shartnomasi tuzilgani va ularga mehnatga haq toʻlashning eng kam miqdorining toʻrt baravaridan kam boʻlmagan miqdorda ish haqi hisoblangani hamda ushbu holat soliq organlari tomonidan tasdiqlangani;
The labor contract has been concluded with the jewelers employed for the new jobs created, in accordance with the established procedure,that their accrued salary is not less than four times the minimum wage, and this is confirmed by tax authorities;
The business entity has been operating in the jewelry centers for at least one month.
