During the solemn event, the congratulatory message from the President of
the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the contest winners was read
aloud.
As reported, the contest was organized by the Agency for Vocational
Education. The winners of each stage of the contest, as well as the practical
mentors assigned to them, were awarded monetary prizes.
The winners of the contest will now have the opportunity to showcase their
professional skills at the international WorldSkills competition.
It is noted that a student who wins the international WorldSkills
competition will receive a monetary prize of 2,500 Base Calculation Amounts
(BCA) — amounting to 1 billion 30 million sums, while their mentor will receive
450 BCA — amounting to 185 million 400 thousand sums.
Thus, youth who demonstrated their professional skills in the national
contest are being provided with the opportunity to worthily defend the honor of
Uzbekistan on the international stage.
