According
to Uzhydromet, a decrease in air temperature began in the northwestern regions
of the republic yesterday afternoon. The temperature will drop in the desert
area today, and tomorrow throughout the republic.
On July
20-24, Uzbekistan is expected to have light, partly cloudy weather, with no
precipitation. Only on July 21 in Karakalpakstan and on July 22 in the regions
of the Fergana Valley, short-term rains will occur in places, thunderstorms are
possible.
In the
mountains, there is occasional short-term rain in some areas, and thunderstorms
are possible.
The air
temperature this afternoon will be in the range of 40-43 degrees Celsius, in
places up to 45-47 degrees Celsius in the south, and 34-39 degrees Celsius in
the north.
From July
21 to the end of the working week, the air temperature drops to 20-25 degrees
Celsius at night, to 32-37 degrees Celsius in the daytime, and in some places
to 30 degrees Celsius.
On July
20-22, the wind is expected to increase to 13-18 m/s in places across the
republic, gusts up to 20-22 m/s are possible in some areas.
In
Tashkent: light, sometimes partly cloudy, no precipitation. The air temperature
is 41-43° today, 25-27° tomorrow night, and 36-38° in the afternoon.
On July
22-24, the temperature drops at night to 20-23°, during the day to 31-34°.
The wind is
easterly with a transition to westerly 3-8 m/s, at times it may increase to
12-15 m/s, in some areas with a dusty snowfall.
