The meeting was co-chaired
by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye Batukhan Mumdju, and the Deputy Minister
of Culture of Uzbekistan Murodjon
Madjidov. Leading experts and senior officials from both countries in
the fields of cultural heritage, museum activities, intangible cultural
heritage, cinema, theater, and performing arts participated in the session.
Participants engaged in
detailed discussions on preserving and promoting shared cultural heritage,
expanding museum cooperation, implementing joint film projects, developing
theater and stage arts, exchanging creative groups, and co-organizing cultural
events.
At the conclusion of the
meeting, a protocol was signed by the Joint Commission dedicated to the
development of cultural cooperation between Türkiye and Uzbekistan. Türkiye
remains committed to further strengthening cultural ties with its friendly and
brotherly partner, Uzbekistan, and ensuring the consistent continuation of
these bonds through joint projects in the future.
